Some more great thoughts from Spurgeon …
“Could I now have the greatest favor conferred on me that mortals could desire, I would ask that I might die. I never wish to have the choice given to me, but to die is the happiest thing man can have, because it is to lose anxiety, it is to slay care, it is to have the peculiar sleep of the beloved. To the Christian, death must be acceptable.”
To be in glory with Jesus – face to face with no other cares or responsibilities other than to adore and worship Him in all His glory, splendor, and majesty - a blissful existence that I can't even fathom.
Take some time this weekend to adore and worship God, relishing Him for who He is and what He has done. Our glorious Lord. Our wonderful Savior. Our magnificent Creator. Praise Him.
Grace and peace to you.

Yes, what a wonderful thing to contemplate and hope to aspire to...welcoming death. My co worker lost his father in law this past week. I didn't know he was ill and found out that he had colon cancer. He found out about 6 weeks ago and didn't seek treatment. He was 78, had a good life and was secure in the fact that he was going to heaven. It was his time and he chose to go his way, naturally and succumb to it. It's hard to think that way when we are healthy and young but I hope that when my time comes I will handle it with grace and anticipation to meet my creator who has been so good to me, much better than I deserve. Thank you Angie for your challenge.
